What Is a Consulting Forester?

A consulting forester is a professional, educated and experienced in a specific or wide range of forestry-related services. Working for forest landowners and other clients, a consulting forester is essentially a service provider who assists in growing and maintaining forest land to provide the best value for the client.

Why Choose Clear Creek Forestry?

It's simple. Choose Clear Creek Forestry when safety, security, and your best financial interest are at stake.

Many forestry operations have their bottom line in mind. That means you may sell your timber for less than its value and be left with little residual growth for the next harvest. Clear Creek Forestry will ensure financial fairness in any timber transaction, plus we manage your property for future investment potential and aesthetics.

So why not put your timber in the safe hands of Clear Creek Forestry and make your money grow?

Mission Statement

Clear Creek Forestry seeks for long-term business growth though ethical and proper forest management applications. By acquiring satisfied repeat clients, Clear Creek Forestry aims to be a second- and third-generation consulting forestry firm. We believe there will be forests to manage for thousands of years. Through proper management, forests can serve many purposes: wildlife, recreation, timbering, and real estate development. To ensure longevity of our forestry resources, Clear Creek Forestry is maximizing Mother Nature's high-quality potential with sound silvicultural management practices. By doing so we increase forest health, shorten rotation times, and increase revenue returns for our clients.

Company History

Formed in August 2002, Clear Creek Forestry, LLC combines the forestry talents and experience of owners Stephen Crookshanks and Scott Reigel. Prior to forming the company, Stephen owned a consulting business; Scott worked as a log yard manager and log scaler for a sawmill operation. Clear Creek Forestry has enjoyed success and growth since its founding. Future goals include expansion into new states and client bases. Clear Creek Forestry draws on the expertise of its owners and staff to provide quality, ethical service to its clients.
